Me? You wanna know more about who I am?
Well let’s see. I work in Tier 3 technical support (it’s takes awhile to find yourself talking to me) for a (mostly) college textbook publishing company supporting our online learning website. I have an office set up at home where I talk with professors, sales reps, company officials, and occasionally a student or two.
I love working from home! I can take care of my animals, household needs, run fast errands, and enjoy the view of my own backyard (which actually isn’t all that spectacular… but it COULD be if I would go out there and work on it on occasion).
I have 2 kids, a daughter who is off to college soon, and a son just starting high school.
I’m lesbian, and have a partner/girlfriend who I plan to marry in the not so distant future. We’ve been together for a little over a year, and she’s the best thing that’s ever walked into my life. She works as a police sergeant, currently on the graveyard shift. We met on match.com, which I highly recommend for those looking for love.
I’ve lived in this town since I was 18, and in my house for 18 years now. I have never lived in one place so long in my entire life, and never would have thought that I would live in this particular house for so long. It has never been a dream home for me, and continues to lack things I desperately desire (such as a garage and an updated kitchen), but at the same time, I find it hard to imagine living anywhere else.
My life is a good one.
